Terms

VisualPodcasts makes Good News Clips (short illustrated vertical videos from a church’s own recorded voice: a new message or an excerpt from a sermon; formerly called YouthCasts) and, by inquiry, illustrated sermon films and Sunday Slides. By requesting work or sending us a sermon, you agree to these terms. Good News Clips is offered to Christian churches, ministries and faith-based youth work, and we may decline any request. Questions go to chuck@visualpodcasts.com.
Your first clip free
Each church may receive its first clip free: a new message or a sermon excerpt of up to 45 seconds, illustrated as a phone clip in the speaker’s own recorded voice. One free clip per church. We check each request by hand and may decline a request.
In return, we may show that clip, with speaker credit, on our Featured clips page, only after your church approves the finished clip and we review it for public display. When you ask for the free clip, you confirm that everyone heard in it has agreed to be shown. You may still withdraw public sharing permission later through your portal; no charge is made automatically.
Your sermons stay yours
You keep every right to your scripts, recordings and words. You give us permission to use them to make and deliver your clips, films and slides, and to display an approved finished clip if you give sample-wall permission. Please send only material you have the right to share, including any music or readings in a recording. Nothing from your church is published or shared without your approval.
Your videos and sample-wall permission
Your church portal provides private review, approval and downloads, and a gallery of your approved finished videos. Approval applies to the exact version you review. A replacement version needs a new approval.
Permission to show a finished clip on our public sample wall is checked by default on the request form and is optional. You may uncheck it before submitting and change it at any time in your portal. This permission covers only an approved finished clip with its speaker credit; your church’s name requires a separate choice. We also review the clip for public display before publishing it. Your source recording, private notes and contact details are not published.
Withdrawing permission removes the wall listing immediately and asks us to remove our public storage copy; cached copies can take additional time to expire. Your private video stays in your gallery. Copies others have already downloaded or reposted are outside our control.
The paintings
Your church’s beliefs determine what we illustrate and how. Before production, we confirm your preferences, including whether Jesus or other sacred figures should be depicted. Your church reviews and approves the finished work.
The paintings are generated with AI and reviewed and edited by a human. You may use the clips, films and slides we make for you in your church’s worship, teaching and outreach, in person and online, for as long as you like. The paintings join our private painting library, and we may use a painting again for another church’s sermon. Your source recordings and scripts stay private; public display of a finished clip follows your sample-wall permission above. AI can make mistakes, so please review the finished work before using it. Text in Sunday Slides stays editable; for a video, ask us for any changes before you approve the final file.
Voices
Films and clips use the voice from your own recording or podcast episode. We never imitate anyone’s voice. Our policy for narrated public demonstrations is to use genuine human-recorded voices.
Prices
Your first clip is free. After that, pilot pricing is available on request: we agree a plan with your church personally, in writing, before anything is charged. Each clip is up to 45 seconds. You may cancel at any time; clips already delivered remain yours to use.
Painted sermon films and Sunday Slides are available by inquiry and quoted individually before production.
Our part
We work carefully and fix mistakes we make, but we can’t promise the service will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, our responsibility for any problem is limited to what you paid us for the work concerned.
Ending
You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your church’s information, as described on our privacy page. We may close an account that misuses the service.
Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and its date, and tell signed-up churches about any important change.
